Street Scenes 1970 documents anti–Vietnam War protests in New York and Washington, D.C., filmed by Martin Scorsese and fellow NYU students. Edited from hours of 16mm footage, the film captures the tension and hope of the era, culminating in a candid hotel-room discussion between Scorsese, Harvey Keitel, Jay Cocks, and Verna Bloom about the meaning and impact of the movement.
